Priorbank has traditionally been providing a wide range of services for private individuals including the issuing and servicing of international payment plastic cards, for which it is the undoubted leader in the Belarusian market.
In May 1993 Priorbank was one of the first banks in the Republic of Belarus to join the international payment system VISA International as a full member. On June 15, 1994, the first bank card, Priorbank Visa Classic, was issued. In 1996 the Bank launched its Priorbank Visa Electron and Priorbank Visa Gold cards, and in 2001 Priorbank revolutionised the local e-commerce market when it issued the Priorbank Visa Internet card.
In 1994 Priorbank joined the international payment system MasterCard International. At present the Bank issues the plastic cards Priorbank MasterCard and Priorbank Maestro with accounts in EUR and BYR.
Utilising its own processing centre significantly improves the quality and speed of Priorbank’s cardholders servicing, and cuts card account maintenance costs.
