Letters of credit
The volume of L/Cs opened by Priorbank is constantly rising.
The major corporate clients using this type of payment are Belorusneft
, Gomeltransneft «Druzhba», Minsk Automobile Plant (MAZ), Mogilevkhimvolokno, Grodno-Azot, etc.
Priorbank permanently advises L/Cs in favour of its clients: Polotsk Steklovolokno, BMZ, MAZ.
In 2005 Priorbank, for the first time, confirmed the L/Cs of other banks. The confirmation was effected within the credit lines of Priorbank.
Documentary Collections
Some of Priorbank`s customers regularly give collection orders. Amongst them is Grodno-Azot, which is particularly active in this field.
Guarantees
Priorbank issues guarantees both for non-resident companies and for custom authorities of the Republic of Belarus.
In 2005 the volume of issued guarantees rose by 5.9 million USD to 20.17 million USD compared to 2004.
Priorbank issues counter-guarantees in favour of Raiffeisen Raiffeisen Zentralbank AG, Austria, Commerzbank AG, Germany, Calyon, London, Dresdner Bank AG, Germany, DZ Bank AG, Germany, and others; and tenders guaranties in favour of Gomelenergo, Belenergosnabkomplekt.
